muMs the schemer

Is an MC and poet from the Bronx. He has performed at New York's Nuyorican Poets Cafe, the Sounds of Brazil and the Brooklyn Moon Cafe, and he represented New York State at the National Poetry Slam Championship in Oregon. He has acted in the Home Box Office series Oz and Black Entertainment Television's music-video program Planet Groove.  He is currently at work on a book titled Movements of the Cockroach. muMs and his work have been featured in The Quarterly Black Review and The Source. muMs the schemer - Team New York City
