The Connor Literary Agency is a full service agency dedicated to advising and guiding writers in every aspect of their literary career, as well as advising writers of the best way to develop their book idea for the successful presentation to publishers. The agency negotiates the terms of the publishing agreement, in complete consultation with the author, and handles all subsidiary rights retained by the author including first serial, movie/TV rights, and foreign rights in major countries throughout the world.

The agency represents books being published by Crown, HarperCollins, John Wiley and Sons, Penguin Putnam, Simon and Schuster, Sourcebooks, Warner Books, and others. The Agency has also served as a consultant and agent for such corporations as Essence Communications, publishers of Essence magazine and the Simplicity Pattern Company.

The Connor Literary Agency has a special interest in illustrated books. We are currently accepting manuscripts; and we are expanding our interest to include more mainstream and multicultural fiction.
