Notes:

The Shrine Cultural Center & Bookstore is a separate component of the church located next door to our sanctuary building. The Shrine of the Black Madonna is a Christian church rooted in Black Liberation Theology. The Cultural Center has always been known for its solid selection of books dealing with the Pan-African experience. In addition, we offer a good selection of African ceremonial masks, instruments, clothes and wood sculptures. Also, connected to the bookstore is an African Holocaust Museum and the Karamou Gallery (Red Room), used for community events, book signings and lectures.
